Resolution of August 4, 2021, by which certain specialization courses of Vocational Training are implemented on an experimental basis in the academic year 2021-2022, and the admission procedure and other aspects of the organization of the same in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands are determined. Order of August 9, 2021, which establishes the procedure for the constitution, arrangement, updating and operation of the employment lists for the appointment of temporary teaching staff in the non-university educational field of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

The General Directorate of Vocational Training and Adult Education is a beneficiary of the Extraordinary Territorial Cooperation Program Vocational Training Plan for Economic and Social Growth and Employability, funded by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and the European Union-NextGenerationEU. This plan includes among its actions, the conversion of classrooms into spaces of applied technology that approximate work environments, with the incorporation of resources of each productive sector, by means of simulators and other technological elements.

The General Directorate of Vocational Training and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands offers for this school year 2021-22 a total of 17 specialization courses aimed at completing the competences of those who have obtained certain Vocational Training degrees, according to a press release issued by the above mentioned regional department. The application period will run from September 1 to 9. The provisional lists of admitted, non-admitted and reserve students will be published on the 13th of the same month in the educational centers where the specialization course is taught, and the same will be done on September 15th with the definitive lists. The calendar of the procedure will conclude from September 15 to 20 with the opening of the enrollment period for admitted students. The training will start on October 18 and will run until June 10, over a period of 29 weeks.
